Here is an event that promises to be a grand spectacle, worthy of a 1000-year birthday celebration!

The Embassy of Spain in Hanoi participates officially in the celebration of the Millennium of the City of Hanoi presenting “Festival of Dragon” show by the Spanish theatre group Els Comediants.

The show “Festival of Dragon”, especially created for the occasion, represents the legend of the birth of the city of Hanoi mixing elements of the culture and the tradition of Vietnam under the scope of Mediterranean culture of Els Comediants‘ performances.

19 Spanish artists and 18 Vietnamese actors from the Circus Federation of Vietnam will present a free entrance modern show of music, acrobatics, dance and spectacular fireworks. It will be a great celebration in which the people of Hanoi will joyfully commemorate their city’s anniversary.

The show will take place in the open area which is in front of My Dinh National Stadium. This area has a capacity for 15.000 people approximately.

“Festival of Dragon” is part of the official program of celebrations of the Millennium of the City of Hanoi.
